- The Hadas(Myrtle)generally
grows in warmer climes
its leaves are grouped in three(Meshulash);the main
requirement
of the Hadas is that the greater part of its stalk
(12 to 15 cm)should be "Meshulash" .
- The required length is a
dispute between the Hallachic Authorities;
wheather it is either 5 inches or 6 inches.
- Special care should be taken
when inserting or taking out the Hadassim from the
binding (holding it together with the Lulav)that one
does not detach to many leaves in the process.
